On 6.11.2024, a working meeting was held at the University of Economics – Varna with representatives from the academic management of the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages, Uzbekistan.

The University of Economics – Varna and the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages have an inter-institutional agreement under Key Activity 1 of the “Erasmus+” programme. Following the established partnership between the two institutions, a meeting was held with Pulatkhon Lutfullayev, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Murodilla Yakubbaev, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations. The University of Economics – Varna was represented by Assoc. Prof. Radan Miryanov, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for International Relations and Partnerships, and Slavena Tsoneva, Ph.D., Head of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting, representatives from both institutions presented up-to-date information regarding their internationalisation policies and the education of foreign students. They also discussed opportunities to deepen their partnership towards developing a dual degree program.

The visit of the foreign guests concluded with a tour of the main campus of the University of Economics – Varna, which once again impressed with its dignified atmosphere, combining centuries-old academic tradition with the innovative spirit of the present day.
