For the second consecutive year, the University of Economics – Varna participated in the prestigious International Education Fair “Study in Europe”, held on 10 and 11 October 2026 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. Organized by the Delegation of the European Union, the event brought together more than 60 higher education institutions from 13 European countries and provided an excellent platform for promoting European higher education opportunities to prospective students.

The University of Economics – Varna was represented by Dr. Slavena Tsoneva, Head of the International Relations Office, and Chief Assistant Professor Dr. Petar Petrov from the Department of Management and Administration. The University's participation formed part of its ongoing efforts to expand its international presence and attract students from abroad.

Among the official guests of the event were representatives of the Delegation of the European Union, diplomatic missions of the participating countries, as well as representatives of local institutions and the academic community.

The stand of the University of Economics – Varna attracted considerable interest from visitors, who had the opportunity to learn more about the wide range of Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programmes offered by the University in English. Particular attention was also given to the international study opportunities available to students, as well as the University's active involvement in European academic mobility initiatives.

Participation in the “Study in Europe” fair marks another step in strengthening the position of the University of Economics – Varna as a recognised and preferred partner in the international higher education landscape. Through initiatives of this kind, the University continues to promote its academic programmes, develop international cooperation, and attract students from around the world.
