University of Economics – Varna

On 14 May 2020 we marked the 100-year anniversary of University of Economics – Varna, the first higher education institution in Bulgaria specialising in economics.

To celebrate this centenary, the UE – Varna academic governance had launched a series of significant events, initiatives and activities as the 100 years – 100 Events Programme to highlight the proud legacy of this university and emphasise its contribution to the development of contemporary education, research, and entrepreneurship.

The Programme started in 2019, with more events to come by the end of 2020. It intends to instil a sense of belonging and commitment to our academic community in students, alumni, faculty members, admin staff, and the general public in this city and country.

We have the great privilege to keep the legacy of the enlightened founders of the first Higher School of Commerce in Bulgaria.  We are also responsible to help every new generation add more passion for knowledge, science and progress to the legacy of the university founders.

You are welcome to make a donation to the Programme to mark the 100 anniversary of UE – Varna or support the Programme in any other way.
