The Faculty of Economics at University of Economics – Varna comprises the Department of Economics and Management of Commerce, the Department of Economics and Management of Construction, the Department of Industrial Business and Logistics, the Department of Commodity Science, and the Department of Agrarian Economics. This faculty is a leader in training professionals specializing in economics; its degree programmes meet the current labour market needs and are among the most favoured by students. Every year over 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students pursue their bachelor and master degrees along with 25 PhD students.
Undergraduate students may choose to study either full time or in distance learning from a range of programmes such as: BSc Business and Management (in English), BSc Economics and Commerce, BSc Business Economics, BSc Entrepreneurship and Investment Management, BSc Real Estate and Investment, BSc Industrial Business and Entrepreneurship, BSc Logistics, BSc Agricultural Business, BSc Commodity Science and Customs Operations.
Master degree students may study either full time, in distance learning or full time online, choosing from: MSc Global Commercial Business, MSc Commodity Expertise and Quality, MSc Corporate Business and Management, MSc Logistics Management, MSc Civil Engineering Entrepreneurship, MSc Real Estate and Investment, MSc Business Economics, MSc Project Management, MSc Agrarian Business, MSc Business Consulting.
All undergraduate and graduate degree programmes are part of the professional field of Economics 3.8.
Over 50 professors, associate professors, chief assistant professors and assistant professors teach at the Faculty of Economics. They do research, offer business consulting services, contribute to business organizations, work under European student mobility programmes, teach international students under the Erasmus + mobility programme; they are visiting lecturers at other European universities.
Student success and recognition in a range of academic forums is a testimony to the top training they receive at the faculty. Graduates are highly competitive in the labour market as a result of their high quality education.
