The Faculty of Finance and Accounting is a leader in economists training. It consists of the Department of Accounting, the Department of Finance, the Department of General Economic Theory and the Department of Legal Studies.
Over 2,000 undergraduates are pursuing these bachelor degree programmes: Accounting and Audit, Finance, Accounting and Finance, Accounting in English, Social Security and Insurance as either full-time or distance learning students.
Over 300 graduates are completing these master degree programmes: Auditing, Bank Management, Corporate Finance, Public Finance, Finance and Innovation, International Business and Management in English as full-time, part-time or distance learning students.
Over 20 doctoral students are conducting research in the Faculty of Finance and Accounting in three PhD programmes in the professional field of Economics 3.8: PhD Accounting, PhD Political Economics (General Economic Theory), PhD Finance.
The faculty employs over 50 lecturers: professors, associate professors, chief assistant professors, and assistant professors. They are distinguished experts, who do academic research and offer consulting services. They contribute to European programmes, collaborating internationally. They teach incoming Erasmus+ international students and they are visiting lecturers at other European universities.
