Traditionally, the University of Economics – Varna welcomes nearly 40 students from over 15 countries both within and outside the European Union, who will spend this winter semester or the entire academic year under the “Erasmus+” program at the university. The highest number of students choosing UE – Varna comes from Germany, Belgium, and Italy.
The International Relations Office organizes adaptation days for the new students. During two informational days, they have the opportunity to tour the university building and learn about the history of the institution.
To welcome foreign students and integrate them into a cohesive student community, the International Relations Office also organizes a special Bulgarian evening for them. During the event, typical Bulgarian customs, rituals, and practices will be presented, along with a folklore program. Additionally, there will be interactive activities through which they will learn interesting facts about Bulgaria.
