The 42nd edition of the International Educational Exhibition IEFT (International Education Fairs of Turkey) was held in the period from 10.11.2023 to 16.11.2023 in Turkey.
The event took place within 5 days followed by huge interest from both participating institutions and registered visitors. The exhibition was held in the three largest Turkish cities Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. This year's edition started with 1 day in the Asian part of Istanbul, followed by 2 days in the European part of the Megapolis. Ankara and Izmir were the next two cities where the visitors had the opportunity to meet personally with representatives of educational institutions.
Over 300 universities, colleges, language and summer schools from 30 countries presented their educational products and services. A record number was registered in terms of visitors’ applications (over 65,000), mainly high school students and bachelor students.
University of Economics – Varna was represented by Mrs. Slavena Tsoneva, Head of the "International Relations" department and Mrs. Selvet Niyazieva, Foreign students coordinator in the "International Relations" department and part-time assistant in the department of "Marketing".
During the prestigious event, many young people interested in the opportunity to study in Bulgaria stopped at the stand of the University of Economics – Varna. Interest was reported in both the bachelor's and master's programmes of the university, as well as the opportunities for joint degrees (double and quadruple) with the international partner universities of UE – Varna.
