University of Economics – Varna welcomed its new students under the Erasmus+ program. They are from 10 countries, including Germany, Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, France.
The students arrived for the summer semester of the 2020/2021 academic year and met with the team of the International Relations Office, which had prepared an interesting program for them.
Despite the limitations of the anti-epidemic measures, the young people had the opportunity to get acquainted with the university, the city and to touch a part of the Bulgarian culture.
The students also brought books in their native language, which they placed in the book lodge in the university yard - a tradition that began in 2020 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the University of Economics – Varna. Especially for them, the International Relations Office organizes a Bulgarian evening. During the event, they participated in a competition with prizes, made martenitsas and played Bulgarian dance.
