Representatives of the University of Economics – Varna conducted an Erasmus+ mobility for training at Dokuz Eylül University in Izmir, Turkey this April.
Assist. Prof. Selvet Niyazieva, lecturer in the Marketing Department at UE – Varna, and Mr. Evgeni Raychev, Head of the University’s International Relations Office, met with Ms. Sevim Tüfenk and Mr. Ozan Oşafoğlu, colleagues from the International Relations Office at the host-university, as well as with Mr. Olgun Çiçek, Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator.
Assist. Prof. Niyazieva and Mr. Raychev also visited the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciece with Dokuz Eylül University, located in Buca, Izmir, where they met with other colleagues from the International Relations Office, as well as with academic staff from the Faculty, to discuss future cooperation and the implementation of joint projects of the University of Economics – Varna and Dokuz Eylül University.
Representatives of the Faculty at the talks were Dr. Hüseyin Avni Egeli, Professor of Economics and Faculty Dean, Dr. Barış Seçer, Professor of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations and Faculty Vice-Dean, Dr. Engin Özgül, Professor of Marketing, and Dr. Efe Çınar and Dr. Gökçe Sinem Erbuğa, Research Assistants and International Relations Coordinator Assistants.
The academic staff from the Faculty were invited to participate in research and science conferences, organised by UE – Varna, while the colleagues from the International Relations Office at the partner university were prompted to visit Varna for the annual Staff Week, organised by UE – Varna’s IRO in July.
As part of their mobility, Assist. Prof. Niyazieva and Mr. Raychev took part in the largest educational exhibition in Turkey in Izmir, where they represented UE-Varna.
