The University of Economics – Varna strengthened its partnership with Armenia last week. The Head of the International Relations Office, Mr. Evgeni Raychev conducted a staff mobility for training under the Erasmus+ Programme at the Armenian State University of Economics.
During his mobility Mr. Raychev had a number of meetings with Ms. Anzhelika Musayelyan, Head of the International Programmes Team at the University, as well as with Anush Isoyan, Sona Aghababyan and Ani Petrosyan, members of the Team. During these meetings it was arranged for the two universities to deepen their partnership in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme and to take mutual initiative in the organisation of international scientific events – conferences, round tables, etc.
It was also arranged for UE – Varna to be included as a partner in a project proposal under Erasmus+ Key Action 2, developed by Armenian colleagues at Amberd Research Centre.
During his stay in Armenia, Mr. Raychev also had the opportunity to visit Yerevan State University, where he met with the Head of the International Cooperation Office Prof. Alexander Markarov. With him it was discussed for Yerevan State University to sign an inter-institutional agreement with UE – Varna for cooperation in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, as well as for the joint perticipation in research and education projects.
