Remote teaching at University of Economics – Varna shall be extended for the rest of the term

University of Economics – Varna is providing remote teaching to students at e-learn.ue-varna.bg and in rooms on Google Meet, Zoom, etc. for the rest of the term.

Links to virtual rooms on Google Meet, Zoom, etc. are available on the eLearn platform. Students need to attend online lectures and seminars in real time.

Third-year vocational students may attend in person only seminars and workshops in Bartending. First-year and second-year vocational students may attend in person only their guiding workshops.

First-year BSc Commodity Science students may attend in person only seminars in Microbiology of Products, Introduction to Commodity Science of Industrial Products, Commodity Science of Shoes and Textiles, Commodity Science of Products of Animal Origin (POAO), and Commodity Science. Master students may attend in person only seminars and workshops in Contemporary Methods of Product Analysis, Food Commodity Science, and Industrial Products Expertise.

In-person training and classes shall be conducted in close compliance with all anti-epidemic measures.

Students shall complete their coursework on the eLearn platform and/or in the Test Centre, and in virtual rooms on Google Meet, Zoom, etc.

Faculty shall have transferred students’ coursework scores to the University online data base by the end of the term.

To contact faculty in their office hours, students may follow the links available in the online profiles of members of faculty.

Exams that need to be taken by 22 Dec 2020 shall be conducted online. Exam dates shall be published in the online profiles of members of faculty. Students may find guidelines on taking online exams on the eLearn platform. Faculty shall transfer students’ exam grades to the University online data base.

1 person per 3 sq m shall be allowed in admin offices.

Any face-to-face events (conferences, workshops, etc.) shall accommodate not more than 30 people, wearing masks and keeping a distance of 1.5 m.
