Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Huawei Technologies Bulgaria and University of Economics – Varna on 15 Nov 2021.
Mr Li Jie, Country Manager Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., and Prof. Evgeni Stanimirov, PhD, UE – Varna Rector, signed the document.
This cooperation will result in the university selecting talented students who will take part in Bulgaria ICT Talents Training – Huawei SFTF Scholarship Program. Moreover, the company and the university will be cooperating in future programmes and projects.
Prof. Stanimirov introduced Mr. Jie to University of Economics – Varna and assured him that this HEI would be open to all shared initiatives as they would add value to student training. The Rector acknowledged that the cooperation with such a renowned company as Huawei Technologies Bulgaria would definitely motivate young people.
Ms Lishaoyi, Head of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications for Bulgaria and Albania, Mr Ruslan Tsankov, Enterprise Sales Manager, Ms Desislava Atanasova, PR manager Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., also attended the meeting.
