On 30th November 2022 two consecutive meetings with Varna Regional Museum „management staff" and "expert staff" in the form of focus groups were held with the main objective to support the study and development of a single entrepreneurial plan for the development of the Varna Regional Museum.
The meetings were carried out under the project Project № BGCULTURE-1.001-0005-C01 funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants and Norway Grants 2014-2021, Programme PA14 Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage and Cooperation.
The development of the entrepreneurial plan for RIM – Varna is based on the idea of "Hybrid experiences at the museum" and is oriented towards turning the museum into a space for communication, exposition, events, art, creativity and science.
Experts from the University of Economics – Varna put in place practical research tools - a collective interview and open-ended questions aimed at researching the opinions and attitudes of the museum employees about the development of the Varna Regional Museum.
During the two organized meetings - discussions, the representatives of the management and expert staff shared and discussed the challenges that the museum faces and their vision for the development of the institution.
Students from the College of Tourism showed an exceptional interest in the activities of the museum. They were specially invited to participate and take a practical part in the focus group meetings as part of their training. After the meetings, the students visited the museum exposition of the "Archaeology" department at Varna Regional Museum of History.
