The team of the International Relations Office at the University of Economics – Varna received approval from the European Commission with an excellent assessment of the proposed Charter for Higher Education "Erasmus+" for the next programming period 2021 - 2027.
The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides a common quality framework for the European and international cooperation activities that a higher education institution can carry out under the Erasmus+ program.
The proposal of the University of Economics – Varna received the maximum 100 points (at a threshold of 76) based on an assessment of three main criteria:
The evaluation of the European Commission found that UE – Varna presents a clear and consistent policy statement of "Erasmus+" in accordance with its profile, has the capacity to implement the planned activities for the future programming period, and to ensure their sustainability. Therefore, the University of Economics – Varna will be committed to improving the current structures for cooperation within the program.
The news of the excellent evaluation comes on the eve of the bright Christmas and New Year holidays and is a promise for successful activity of the University of Economics – Varna under the Erasmus+ program in the next 7 years, and also opens doors for work on many other international projects.
