Another event of the adaptation days for incoming Erasmus+ students for the summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024 was held on 23 February 2024.
The International Relations Office of the University of Economics – Varna organized a Bulgarian evening for the incoming Erasmus+ students. The foreign students were welcomed in the old Bulgarian tradition with bread with salt and honey. During the event various Bulgarian customs and rituals were presented. On the eve of the first of March, the International Relations Office team shared about the tradition of martenitsa and everyone together made their first martenitsa.
The students actively participated in an interactive game with prizes, demonstrating their knowledge of our country.
Their good mood was ensured by the folklore group "Bulgarka", who presented typical Bulgarian folklore traditions and rituals. One of the University of Economics's student presented bulgarian song. The students took an active part in the folklore programme and learned how to play a Bulgarian dance, the so called "Pravo horo".
