The Vocational Training Center at University of Economics – Varna offers vocational and life-long training, foreign language courses and teacher training courses.

Set up in 2017, the Center is headed by Assoc. Prof. Silvia Blagoeva, PhD (Vice-Rector for Academic Studies and Accreditation) and its main focus is enhancing trainees’ qualifications and competences.

Trainees are involved in group work at lectures and seminars, in case studies, role plays, discussions, interviews, tutorials, course assignments and projects, exams, thesis writing and defense.

Trainees’ independent studies include attending tutorials and key lectures and seminars, individual assignments and projects, exams, thesis writing and defense.

The Vocational Training Center lecturers are University of Economics – Varna members of faculty, other HEIs local and international staff (visitng lecturers) and practitioners.

Since 2018 the Center has been fully compliant with the regulations of the National Agency for Vocational Training and Education.
