35 years after graduating Le Minh Toan from Hanoi, Vietnam, returned to the University of Economics – Varna together with her husband and friends who graduated from other universities in Bulgaria. She studied “Accounting”, when the dean of the Faculty of Accounting was Prof. Dr. Zdravko Kovachev, and the rector was Prof. Dr. Georgi Dimitrov. The guests were welcomed by the employees from the “International Relations” department, observed the museum showcases with authentic objects, archival photos and documents from the history of the university and walked along the modern Studentska Street. Mrs. Toan returned to her former classrooms and recalled unforgettable moments of student life.
The guests also had an emotional meeting with the rector, Prof. Dr. Evgeni Stanimirov. They commented that the century-old building of the university, a monument of architectural heritage, is the same from the outside, but inside the learning environment has been beautifully changed and modern students are educated in modern conditions.
