University of Economics – Varna shared its latest project deliverables at a regional conference organized by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency at the Agency’s National Press Club in Varna on 1 Feb 2023.
In his welcome speech, Prof. Dr. Evgeni Stanimirov, Rector of University of Economics – Varna, highlighted the importance of a large-scale, long-term programme on natural intelligence development, as it is natural intelligence that brings about artificial intelligence.
Europe’s first Deep Technology Innovation Port (VDTIP), established last year by JA-Bulgaria, The Edge, and University of Economics – Varna, aims to consolidate the activities of central and local administrations, the academia, businesses and NGOs to facilitate deep innovation in this country. This process may further be facilitated by UE – Varna existing partnerships with entrepreneurial ecosystems (Munich, Athens, Aveiro, Trento, Cluj Napoca, etc.).
Miroslava Ivanova, Head of Project Management at University of Economics – Varna, presented the university deliverables and good practices in projects funded by operational, national and international programmes.
Priorities and measures set out for the 2021 – 2027 programme period were further discussed by representatives of national and local government organisations.
