University of Economics – Varna has joined the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022. Our university is the second Bulgarian university following Sofia University to have been ranked by THE. No other Bulgarian universities have entered the THE rankings yet.

The THE Impact Rankings measure university performance, using the UN Sustainable Development Goals and applying performance indicators across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

• UE – Varna is ranked 1001+ overall with the breakdown in categories as follows:
• Quality Education: 1001+
• Gender Equality: 601 – 800
• Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: 601+
• Partnerships for the Goals: 1001+

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 include more than 1,406 universities across 106 countries and territories.
