Students and teachers from the Secondary Vocational School in Handlova, Slovakia, visited the University of Economics – Varna to learn more about the opportunities which the University offers to its foreign and exchange students.
The students’ visit was organised with the support of the High School of Economics “Dr. Ivan Bogorov” in Varna, which is the host organisation for the Slovak students under the Erasmus+ Programme and a partner of UE – Varna.
The International Relations Office team at the University explained to the students the opportunities for mobility and full-time education for current and future students from Slovakia and conducted a tour for the students around the University.
The students, whose field of study is mainly focused on technical informatics and economics, were most impressed with the University library and the reading room, as well as by the Book Lodge initiative, which was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
The visit was an opportunity for UE-Varna to strengthen its international partnership with Slovakia, as well as its relationship with the High School of Economics, Varna on a local level.
