Representatives of two Romanian universities visited UE – Varna from March 6 to 10, 2023 and lectured to second-year students majoring in International Business.
The University of Economic Studies in Bucharest was represented by Prof. Alexandra Horobet PhD, a specialist in the field of: international business, international finance, corporate finance, foreign direct investment, exchange risk management, stock exchanges and trading. The lecturer presented a lecture on "Foreign Direct Investments in Central and Eastern Europe".
Alma Pentescu, research assistant, together with Prof. Lucian Belashko, PhD from the Department of "Management, Marketing and Business Administration" at the Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu presented a lecture on the topic: "Corporate and Social Responsibility in International Business".
The foreign guests of the university were hosted by Assoc. Prof. Georgi Marinov PhD and Chief Assist. Prof. Alexander Shivarov, PhD, from the Department of International Economic Relations. Together with representatives of the International Relations Office, the possibilities for academic exchange between the three universities were discussed.
