The University of Economics – Varna took part in the celebrations on the National Day of France this year.
Traditionally, Her Excellency Ms Florence Robine, Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Bulgaria, gave a reception to commemorate the Bastille Day. The event took place in the yard of “Nikola Vaptsarov” Naval Academy in Varna and gathered dozens of Bulgarian and international guests.
Representative of UE – Varna to the event was Mr. Evgeni Raychev, Head of the International Relations Office at the University. He congratulated Her Excellency on the National Day of France on behalf of UE – Varna’s Rector Prof. Evgeni Stanimirov, PhD.
During the celebration, Mr. Raychev held an informal meeting with Mr. Pierre Colliot, Director of the French Institute in Bulgaria, when the two discussed the expansion of UE – Varna’s international partner network with a further number of higher education institutions in France.
