At the end of May 2023, the International Relations Office held a work meeting with representatives of the South China Business College, which is part of the Guangdong University of Foreign Research.
The Chinese institution was represented by Chi Shengun – Vice-Head of the International Relations Department, Jiang Yuansong – Head of the International Relations Department, and Jin Xiuquing – staff member of the International Relations team.
During the meeting, Evgeni Raychev, Head of the IRO at UE – Varna, presented to the guests the opportunities for foreign students’ education at the University, focusing on the programmes taught in English.
The Chinese partners offered cooperation between the two universities in the field of student exchange programmes and the potential development of a double-degree Diploma in International Business. It is expected that by the end of July the two universities will sign a cooperation agreement, which will allow students from both universities to conduct international mobilities for studies.
By the end of June, the International Relations Office will begin discussions regarding cooperation with two more Higher Education Institutions in China.
