The Charter for Higher Education "Erasmus+" of UE – Varna for the programming period 2021 - 2027 has been approved and signed

University of Economics – Varna signed the Charter for Higher Education under the program of the European Commission "Erasmus+" for the next programming period 2021 - 2027.

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides a common quality framework for the European and international cooperation activities that a higher education institution can carry out under the Erasmus+ program.

UE – Varna prepared its proposal and it was evaluated with the maximum number of 100 points (at a threshold of 76) by the European Commission, and the evaluation was obtained on the basis of evaluation on three main criteria:

  • Relevance of the Erasmus+ Policy Declaration;
  • Adherence to the principles of "ECHE" and the practical application in higher education;
  • Quality of the management structure.

The Charter of UE – Varna under the Erasmus+ program defines the policy and principles that UE-Varna will adhere to in its activities in the field of international cooperation for the next 7 years not only within the program, but also it opens doors for implementation of successful activities on many other international projects.
