Velimir Drecun, a lecturer at the Faculty of business economics and law at Adriatic University in Bar (Montenegro), and Sara Pavićević, a doctoral student, visited the University of Economics – Varna during the period 20 April 2026 – 24 April 2026.

The host of the doctoral student was Chief Assistant Professor Dr. Slaveya Zhelyazkova from the Department of Statistics and Applied Mathematics at the Faculty of Informatics. The programme included meetings, familiarization with the university’s research infrastructure, as well as research activities and discussions in the field of economics.

Assistant Velimir Drecun carried out a teaching mobility visit to the Department of Management and Administration. His host was Chief Assistant Professor Dr. Silvia Dimitrova. Mr. Drecun delivered lectures and presentations to 3rd-year students and students enrolled in Master’s degree programmes. The topic of his presentation being “The Importance of Macroeconomic Environment in Montenegro and European Union Integration”.

The guest also had the opportunity to meet international exchange students at the University of Economics – Varna. During the visit, meetings with colleagues from the Department of Management and Administration were also organized.

The visits of the doctoral student and the lecturer were part of the efforts of the University of Economics – Varna to expand international cooperation and strengthen partnerships with higher education institutions outside the European Union. The visit contributed to promoting internationalization, the exchange of academic experience, and the creation of new opportunities for joint research and educational activities within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
