Between April 7 and April 11, 2025, ALTE University in Tbilisi, Georgia—one of UE-Varna’s partner institutions—hosted an International Staff Week, bringing together representatives from universities in Ukraine, Turkey, Croatia, Czech Republic, Iran, Azerbaijan, and other countries.
The University of Economics – Varna (UE-Varna) was represented by Prof. Dr. Bistra Vasileva, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Professional Development, and Dr. Slavena Tsoneva, Head of the International Relations Office. Prof. Vasileva was invited as a Keynote speaker, delivering two specialized lectures to an international student audience on the following topics: “Exploring AI-driven Business Transformation” and “Marketing Analytics: Turning Data into Business Growth”.
Throughout the event, Professor Vasileva and Dr. Tsoneva established connections with representatives from participating universities, exploring opportunities for future collaboration. Impressively, within just three days of their return, two cooperation agreements had already been signed, marking a swift and promising step toward international partnerships.
The final day of the event featured an International Education Fair, in which UE – Varna actively participated. The university's stand attracted dozens of young attendees, who expressed keen interest in UE – Varna’s academic programs and educational opportunities.
This engagement not only strengthened UE – Varna’s international network but also reinforced its commitment to expanding global cooperation and academic excellence.
