New ERASMUS+ Project at University of Economics – Varna

ESSENCE (Enhance Soft Skills to Nurture Competitiveness and Employability) has been the latest project to be launched with University of Economics – Varna as partner. The project is financed by Erasmus+ as part of Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education.

The lead partner is The University of Information Technology and Management based in Rzeszów (Poland).  ESSENCE also involves The Institute for Financial Research and Analyses (IFRA), University of Dubrovnik, IDP SAS Di Giancarlo Costantino (Italian Development Partners, Italy), Institut De Haute Formation Aux Politiques Communautaires (Belgium), Stockholm School of Economics SEE Riga (Latvia), and Internet Web Solutions (Spain).  

The project aims at providing students and recent graduates soft skills training beyond HEI formal training with the ultimate goal of boosting their employability and job competitiveness.

The project deliverables include an interactive online platform (OER platform) available to all stakeholders for future reference; a comprehensive catalogue of training tools supporting university students in soft skills development to help them improve their employability; an online business dictionary with the use of concept maps; customised training for self-improvement and career planning.
