University of Economics – Varna contributed to two events organized by the Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC), the institution authorised by the European Commission and the Bulgarian government to administer the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps Programme in Bulgaria.

The Centre’s annual gathering on Erasmus+ Programme Management and Monitoring took place on 3 Dec 2025, with over 130 beneficiaries and experts attending, who were welcomed by Vladimir Yordanov, HRDC Deputy Executive Director. The event provided an opportunity to share and promote good practices and know how within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The Annual National Meeting of Organizations certified with the European Solidarity Corps Programme Quality Label was held on 5 Dec 2025, with Nikolay Spasov, HRDC Executive Director, welcoming attendees. The event focused on organizational support, sharing of good practices and on development of future trends in volunteer work.

The National Agency singled out University of Economics – Varna as Bulgaria’s only HEI certified with the European Solidarity Corps Programme Quality Label.

The event has gained prominence as a crucial platform for the development and evaluation of work done by the certified organizations, once again emphasizing the importance of solidarity and voluntary work as core European values.
