The International Relations Office at the University of Economics – Varna expects more than 50 Bulgarian and international guests to arrive today for the 4th edition of the International Staff Week “Enriching Mobility Experience”.
As early as 10am, the University main building will be full of visitors from Slovakia, The Netherlands, Spain, Algeria, Germany, Portugal, Ghana, Jordan, The Republic of South Africa, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Italy, with strongest representation of Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, and Poland.
The participants will discuss opportunities for student and staff mobilities between partner universities, joint degree programmes, and well-working practices for enhancing the experience of international guests. They will have the opportunity to experience Bulgarian culture, traditions and history, to learn more about UE-Varna and the city, and, in turn, to present their home countries and universities.
On the third day of the Staff Week members of the British Council in Bulgaria and the British Embassy, as well as representatives of American universities from the State of Pennsylvania, will also join the event. Another panelist, invited to give a presentation, is the former Mayor of the City of Rome, Prof. Marino.
The International Staff Week will take place until 07 July 2023. It aims to strengthen existing partnerships and provide networking opportunities for the development of new ones.
