The University of Economics – Varna (UEV) for the first time organized an international event for training students under the Erasmus+ program - BIP Prominence Intensive Program 2024 "Practicing Cultural Intelligence Across Cultures". The forum took place in UEV In the period from 4.11.2024 till 8.11.2024 and was attended by 38 students and 4 lecturers from European partner universities of UEV: University of Economics - Katowice, Poland; University of Debrecen, Hungary; Hawest University of Applied Sciences, Belgium; Cardinal Herrera University, Spain; Aschaffensburg University, Germany; Newton University, Czech Republic as well as by students from the host university - UEV.
The program included a theoretical part, workshops, team work and presentations to develop a marketing campaign on a given topic.
The classes were held in the co-working spaces, created and equipped with the financial support of the university's partners - UniCredit Bulbank AD and DSK Bank.
In the closing session of the program, the three best performing student teams were awarded.
A cultural program was planned for the participants, including an International Culinary Evening, a visit to the old Bulgarian capitals Pliska and Preslav.
The participants in the forum shared their excellent impressions of the organization of the event and expectations that UEV will organize more projects under the Erasmus+ program in the future.
