From 7 to 13 October 2025, Assoc. Prof. Kaloyan Kolev, PhD, from the Department of General Economic Theory at the University of Economics – Varna, visited Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. The visit aimed to further strengthen the long-standing partnership between the two institutions.

Assoc. Prof. Kolev was warmly welcomed, with the Bulgarian flag raised alongside the flag of Argentina - a meaningful gesture that only confirmed the hospitality and professionalism of our partners at UADE.

During his stay, he delivered five lectures across four key topics:

• "Structural Shifts in the Global Economy: Innovation, Governance, and Pathways to Resilient Growth"  and "EU and MERCOSUR-A Tale of Two Blocs (Ambitions, Integration & Business Impact)" - presented to students in the Global Communications programme
• "Managerial Decision Making under Uncertainty: Beliefs, Heuristics and Persuasion", delivered to students in the Global Management programme
• "Foreign Direct Investment as a Form of International Financing", presented to master’s students in International Financial Management

The lectures were tailored to each programme and audience, engaging students in productive discussions.

Assoc. Prof. Kolev also held meetings with UADE’s representatives and leadership members to discuss expanding collaboration through student and staff mobility, joint research projects, and future academic initiatives. Meetings were conducted with Emiliano Acosta, Head of the International Cooperation at UADE; Prof. Mercedes Autunno (Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Global Communication at UADE), Martín Álvarez (Instituto de Economía - INECO).

The visit reinforced University of Economics – Varna’s valuable partnership with UADE and it was the first step towards exploring further horizons in their collaboration.
